Longboarding the pavement is going ballistic in Torquay at the moment.... Is the same happening elsewhere?

my 14 yr old boy has saved and has bought 2 new boards in the past 4 months...it is madness

he boaght a landyachts switchblade....solid downhill board and a loaded tantium both are amazing boards... i have a 57 inch kahuna ideal for old style carving...not so extreme :) but great fun

My young bloke has a really good one he got shipped over from the States.
I was riding it out the front a fair bit before I stuffed my back in an unrelated incident. Our street is a no through road so its perfect for skatboarding.
It definately works your legs. Skateboards have come a long way since I owned one.

My current quiver (pretty flat where I live, sold my Subsonic Reflex double-drop and my Dervish to help fund the wife's SUP ):

L to R

Comet Crystal Mountain drop-through (Sabres & Cult Death Rays) push & stick cruiser

Roe Mermaid (Seismic + Virage, Bonnies & Wigglers) distance pumper, it's a friggin' rocket

G|Bomb Dark Matter (Seismic + Bennett, Bonnies & Wigglers) travel board, brackets off, fits in a suitcase

BeesKneez Catalyst (Roleys, Lime & Lemon BZs) push-pump hybrid.

More fun than a box full o' puppies

I like triple stringers... Here's my Sector 9. This was when it was new. It now needs a little deck scrub, as my latest Vans have black soles and leave a black tint.

Haha! I never said I loved Crownies, I was just saying there was no real need to apologise....

Chrispy, I'm not the sort of person who whinges about the brand of the free beer I'm given. Are you?! ....

I've been to BBQ's before and heard people complain about the free beer... It grates on me, and I have use will power, and tell myself "no, it's not your place to ask them to leave".

And Chrispy won't even post pics of his boards!?

What's nicer on the eye;
- triple strung and clear deck grip;
- or -
- Black deck grip covering up lovely maple...
