Hey guys, can't show you the board porn pics below without boring you with the story first....
I have been lusting after a McTav Noserider ever since we sold a stunning new lime coloured version of it last year, and also 'cos my own Noosa 66 model is now over 12 years old and has seen better days.
We traded in this beautiful 9'6 McTav Noserider model in the pics below earlier this week from Lindsay who was the second owner. He didn't have much info on who it was originally made for, etc. which is always handy for prospective buyers.
So i had been dying to try it out every day this week before having to put it in the used racks but something always came up and i couldn't.
Anyway, i finally headed to Rainbow first thing this morning and was greeted with full but clean little peelers around 1-2ft...just perfect for testing out whether there was any real love (and not just lust) for this Noserider.
On my second wave, a guy took off way further down the line and eventually the two sections joined up and we flicked off together. We said "hi" and then he looked at the board and said "i think thats my old board". We chatted for a while.
Turns out he was the original owner and sold it to Lindsay (the guy who traded it in). So I had the full history of the board right there after one wave!
PS - Stayed out for 3 hours and had an absolute ball on it. Think I'm gonna have to find room for it in the garage at home.
