I had one of them. The bike not the girl.

Ape hangers and a banana seat, not to mention the in line gear shifter.

I had a purple repco one in 1975 maybe. I THINK the front forks were longer, but the seat looks the same.
The ape hanger bars may have been taller.
I knew I was it and a bit.
Possibly taller cissy bar, used to hang hession sacks either side for paper round.
Ended up getting a dedicated paper round dragster, banana seat and taller cissy bar to carry two rounds worth of morning papers in one go.
No gears, just pedal harder - it was stuck in first to climb hills, roll from there.
Think I got a drop half way to load more.
Entrepenear at 13, do two paper rounds in the time of one

hahaha,Yeah Ob,that was the first one I saw actually,I think they still called them a Falcon in the States.I might be a bit out with some of the years of them but looks like the pic was probably taken in the late 50s.I cant see any 59 models there though
