I once owned a pink ripcurl vest I'll find a photo
My mums friend brought it for me in Cronulla and brought it back to small town NZ for me - yep - it was way cool. All the boys were jealous of my new high tech wetsuit all the way from Australia. It was a real talking point until a few weeks later when another bloke turned up with a bright yellow Aloha Board - we all had board envy after that and my wetsuit was forgotten.
As for the Pink vest - there must be a story to that one............

Oh come on Ted,you remember wearing a pink Tee was way cool around the 70's early 80's.
Late 80's I had a short arm steamer which was all orange. Not my smartest decision as everybody knew when Scotty went over the falls. It's a bit like Changa in the 75 GF with the white boots.
