I'm wondering which board is good for all-round paddling and also some windsup. All-round = flat water fitness, decent in chop, maybe the odd downwinder, a little bit of surf.

I've seen this cool vid
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/How-fast-can-a-Naish-Nalu-go/
Seems to work pretty good. I presume thats a Nalu 10'6.5

I have a Nalu 11'4 . I find it doesn't really get up on a plane but tends to get stuck in wheelie mode. Is the Nalu 10'6.5 better in this respect or is it just the rider who is better? Any other suggestions?

hi yugi. i absolutely love my naish 12' glide touring which perfectly fits your definition of an all-round board. i had the mast track put in to transform it into a great windsup. with a flatter rocker than a surf style sup it gets up on the plane easily

I have sailed my old Starboard 12'2", it has far less rocker than most shorter SUPs and at only 27" wide it tracks really well and does not drift downwind. There is a mid deck slot which allows a Drakes short fin to be fitted as a mini daggerboard (will be using this over the weekend with my 2 bots so will take some pics and report back.)

I've windsurfed quite a few sup boards and I think the 10'10 Nalu was the best.

Why do you have an aerial coming out of your head in that freeze frame? Are you beaming your GoPro pics direct to the international space station now?

Starboard does a range of boards in AST that are outstanding as windSUP boards. I used the 9-5 widepoint it even has plugs for footstraps.
