Someone here said that Creatures have a new Supa Heavy duty SUP leash coming but I've not seen it yet.

I'll be looking out for that one because there is nothing worse than breaking a leggie and knowing there's rocks along the shoreline and your new board is headed towards them..

Creatures leggie I HAVE ONE NEARLY A YEAR OLD HAS BEEN PUT TO THE TEST , IT HAS TWO KNOTS IN IT AND STILL HASN,T SNAPPED.

Cant beat the creatures leash, the best on the market in my opinion

I have snapped 2 of the Creatures longboard pros in 12 months. The strain on my leg was not that great on either occasion. I think a stronger leash like the Outer Reef is necessary for SUP boards.

I hope that Creatures bring out the Outer Reef leggie with an ankle strap.
I have a knee strap and I have a bung knee.
It doesnt help when a 10kg board goes over the falls and pulls the sh1t outta my knee

How long is the C4 surf leach?

Interesting racing leach..What's with the thin black cord...and how long is it?

I wonder if you even need the rail-saver if it's for flat water or down-winding.

Thanks for that..I wondered how you'd tie a broken leggie together..I was thinking reef knot.

While we're talkin' knots...What type of knot is recommended for tieing the leggie to the board..(rail saver to the leach plug)..?

Yeah, the leggie is a bit of a problem wanting to unbend, just use a bit of tape to keep the leggie closed.
You use a fishermans knot for the leash plug. Just form a loop thru the leash pin making sure that the loop does not overlap the end of the board, if it does you will get dings from the rope. The only thing to hang over the end of the board is the rail saver, thats why it called a rail saver. You have no idea how many rail /tail dings I have fixed over the years because of this problem. I have just got back from a small surf and have been studying the chicken wing problem? Ill start a new post on it.

Where did you surf to get six to eight feet waves cause the alley is two feet today and pushing four feet yesterday ?? Damn did I miss out on something ??

Saturday on the Bombie off the seaway was Epic , took my boat out and anchored out to sea with a couple of mates all on sups one 12 footer and two 11'6 C'4's the take offs were huge , it felt like you were a super ball bouncing down a set of stairs. A very heavy 2 hour session we are still sore from it , but I'll never forget our last wave my mate and I took off on a huge set side by side on the C4's he got launched over the front of his board and I made the free fall with his board tumbling behind my legs , I managed to surf away clear but got engulfed by the monster foam ball. So the leggies copped a big hiding that day.... no wonder it broke.

Rod my repair was at sea , and the leggie snapped early in the peice but it did hang on for the rest of the session , when I checked it the next day it was still tight so I left it and surfed another session as is but I have replaced now , it has to pop soon
