If the cat is going to die anyway then that is throwing good money away ,but i am an animal lover so I would pay "nearly" anything to prolong its life and/or quality of life . (Cats can easily live to early 20s in Human years)

Rates must be paid eventually or the council will eventually sell your property to get their money. That however will not happen quickly so its up to you.I notice the early payers discount is hardly worth it on the Gold Coast now.(and mine are WAY more than a few hundred too ??)

You say a New paddle .Does that mean you already have one ? If so That makes it a luxury purchase of a new toy and not the biggest priority to me.

I say cat. then paddle. then rates. as funds allow.

If the paddle is full carbon, it's strong enough to take care of the cat. That just leaves the council.

At least you will be out having fun on the water as the bailiffs take you tv.

Not into cats specifically unless they are a ragdoll or maincoon. These things are huge and amazing. I'm with Lats on this one.

If you do decide to dispose of the cat make sure you do it on the qt.

A BRITISH man has been jailed and banned from keeping a pet for five years for microwaving a hamster.

Anthony Parker, 29, from Hartlepool, in northeastern England, admitted to cooking his "favourite" hamster when interviewed by police who had been called to his home in the early hours of February 23.

The unemployed construction worker said he put the hamster in the cooker after a drunken fight with his girlfriend.

Parker, who was sentenced to nine weeks in jail, told police: "I didn't mean to kill her. She was the best hamster I ever had. She was called Suzie."

Neil Taylor, prosecuting, said, "It was clear the hamster died in agony."

I held back a bit!

Eat the cat.... use grocery money to pay rates.

Never take my advice!!

I always opt for the toys first.... now I divorced!!!

But guess who got custody of all the toys!!!!

Don't post anything in the general section.

There's about 6 crazy conspiracy nuts (or maybe all one guy). They tear you to shreds if you don't believe their stories!! It's like a warzone there!!
