I'm thinking a circular saw of this type is probably not the correct tool choice to cut through a board that thick, its got a limited depth of cut.

I agree, I believe they would have used a bandsaw for this job rather than the circular advertised.

Nothing annoys me more in advertising than the wrong tool application to cut up surfboards.

I checked the Ryobi website and it clearly states a maximum cut of 2 3/8 at 90 degrees. Those advertising guys never get it right.......

I normally do the right thing around surfers but the other day a young guy with a mowhawk told me the minute I paddle out before I even got a wave (and I was only paddling past anyway to get to the point) That i could take my board and **** OFF. I had had enough!!!! I stayed on that bank and took every set wave for the next 30 mins, until mowhark boy dropped in on me, I pushed him off with my paddle and then unfortunitily ran him over (his fault for dropping in). After woods he then fronted me in the car park and wanted to fight. He will be easy to spot he has STRENGTH AND HONOUR tattooed on his back and my paddle shoved up his arse!!! Last seen having **** put on him by his mated for copping a flogging by someone more than double his age..

Good on ya Surfrod for not taking sh!T. Those adds just feed the whole 'hate everyone else' trip that some so called surfers are on. My mate rides a goatie is definately not someone you would give sh!t too either.

When you say "flogging" were blows exchanged or did you just out bluster the moron?

While my dark side applauds you putting a dickhead in his place, my civilised side says that assaulting people is unacceptable behaviour.

Add the 25% extra for the tough stickers (tatts) and I'm sure he was a formidable character. Tattoos are cool, I'm just going alternative by not getting any. Bare skin is rare these days.

As a mentor of mine always said:

"Don't be afraid of the tough looking guy with the tatts and scars, it's the well dressed good looking bloke who tells you quietly that you're in serious trouble with a smile that's the dangerous one'

I would like to know which Magazine it was in and who the publisher is!

I think they have left themselves wide open personally as the ad clearly insites agression or action towards SUPers

What do you think Locco?

Ryobi are not real tools anyway, just cheap rubbish.
They make toys for the home weekend handyman, not tradesman tools, so good on em..

Most surfers that are real tradesman and would not buy them even if they promote sup anger.....

Ryobi and bunnings in the one ad, nuff said, couldn't even recommend them for handymen!!!

Disclaimer: I don't work for Bunnings or for Ryobi, and I don't favour one over the other, I hate them both equally
