I saw Tommy Carroll with a stepped rail a way back-seemed to make sense-getting the buoyancy of the mid thickness and the lower finer rail for performance.

yeah, it looks sweet. i had a go on barry's board and had a close look at piros's board. barry's was super quick and very fast rail to rail.i have a psh comp lite 8'9 ripper which is a beauty and i'll keep for the rougher stuff.so it's a 8'6 shape with the stepped rail concept. casso seems to think his is about 105 lt's, i'm guessing or hoping for about 100 lt's. i might be dreaming, but, while most good sup pers can get boards radical the transitions aren't quite fast enough, most times for most of us, to really go vert with some zap- here's hoping. the reality is i'll probaby just bog the rail faster then normal

I used to have a 7s stepped rail 6'3" short board that went unreal until I snapped it. The stepped rails are a great idea as you get the benefit of the volume in the middle but the narrow rail. Look forward to yr review when u get it.

Spray it up in a couple of different shades of blue and bring it to Port Macquarie in two weeks time - that's my ideal board. I'll only need it for 20mins (maybe a few more if I'm lucky). Tell Dale it will get good exposure!

That tail looks sick!! I ordered a rounded squash but i will calling Dale today and changing it.. Hope i am not to late.. This is exactly why i wanted all the pictures of his boards.. I always change my mind
