i've had a car for a while. it was in good condition, however since i've been sup ping i got a fair amount of rust from the saltwater that runs off the boards.

it wasn't worth spending money on so i did some repairs with an incasing type of product and used a can of spray to paint. not real pretty but should keep the authorites happy. probably get one of those electric boxes that stop rust and take it with me to the next car.

here's how it looks on the tailgate

seriously wash ya boards or the car and board.
cheers

I think I've seen them.. You attach the hose to the exhaust pipe to inflate it..

Pimpery aside ... keep a chamois in your car and wipe down your gear at the end of each session. It gets rid of the excess water and keeps your gear nice and clean. Rinse the chamois out in fresh water from time to time and keep it in the plastic container it comes in.

Keeping board and paddle in padded bags also helps protect car and board. It's an acquired skill to get the board into the bag without getting it messy with sand.

My Subaru is coming up to 12 years old and looks new. It has spent its entire life either parked at the beach or driven up and down Beach Rd. You don't have to be obsessive about it. Just think things through beforehand.

i forgot a good shirt to wear for protection against the sun. they reckon darker colours are the go

all jokes aside, i've just had an orange slice taken out the back of my leg and 8 stitches and 2 weeks dry. the report back was good.

but i never put sunscreen on my legs.
what made it annoying was i asked the doctors about this scaley thing on the back of my leg when i had skin checks and was told it was nothing- next time its the second worse skin cancer
cheers
that's a wrap- it's actually hard work this caper -posting photos
