That looks like about 8 - 10 feet waves to me..... What do you reckon Brooko 4 feet measured from the back?

A little bit hard to be exact as the quality and distance the pic is taken from arnt that good, but by the amount of white water it is definately a solid beach break i would probably call it 5 -6 ft Just reading the latest surfwest mag about the brown brothers cortney & Kirby, these guys are absolute chargers and they call wave size correct too, as most surfers do

We get beachbreaks like that all up and down the WA coast, I wish.

Would be scary sh1t that size at that spot on a SUP. Props.

Haha was about to say theres no beachbreak in wa that will hold 8-10ft Well maybe one, not 10ft , but Boranup on the odd occasion will hold 8ft but its more a 4 -6ft wave, and at 6 ft there and boodjidup snap more boards than anywhere ive seen before even more than gas or grunters

Depends which point you mean, but yes it is a point in the states northern half and it is very crowded at this time of year.

Yeah and at one time you could not get into it at all, grumpy old owner, hated fisherman more than surfies.

Seriously, do the crew in the west remember the ABC program about the grey Nomads? And the Agenda of the WA State Gov in reclaiming the coastal strip to 3kms inland and closing it off except for special purpose areas?

It's definitely in the top 3 waves I've ever surfed. We supp'd it a month back, little bit smaller than in the pic. So much fun, 200m rides and a cruisey paddle back out with the current.

Its not Margs Brooko. And Id probably even go as far as saying that this wave is not a point.
