How come the vids go to crap when you upload to you tube? Oh well had a ball today on the Fanatic , I think its Johno on the Bark 14 at the begining. Tried a few different camera angles didnt all work Lol.Hope you can get an idea of how much fun these boards are to surf

nice vid. gee andrew the surf fin certainly looks like turnings supppppppper.

what do you think you lose out on when you put the surf fin in compared to a more normal 12'6 fin?.

it was a sight to see on saturday morning with i reckon about 25 12'6 boards doing ins and outs training at laceys.those saturday training sessions in the surf are tough, but the best fun.

Thanks.. Great vid and interesting to see how much the tail digs into the water in an effort to keep the nose up.. What fin are you using?

Thanks guys , Lacey i dont think i loose to much with the small fin maybee a bit of stability but it still tracks great.Heaps more controll on the wave though.Should be quicker too i think , not as much drag. Dj its just and old plastic center fin out of my PSH.Ive had the best sessions on this thing ever , cant wait to try it when the Alley gets big and fat on a big high tide , now thats gonna be fun.

looks like a blast and a great alternative to normal sup when there is no swell or full.

see you got a normal leggie on there teatrea. anybody tell me the difference/reason to use a coiled leggie? is it just to keep it out of the way when you are downwinding?

hey mate yeah i think the coiled leggies are to reduce the drag in the downwinders! The long ones do get in the way a bit.Not sure how strong the coiled ones are for the surf.

Nice work with the vid - inspiring stuff. Might just have to consider a 12'6" surf racer to add to the flat water quiver. The 14' DW board is just a bit boofy for manoeuvring in those sort of conditions.
