Apologies for the hijack just though I would liven up the boring sup forum for the mal riding Queensland supporter. No harm meant

Seriously though why not a DC?
what makes you think he wont go DC.... the way I read it is he is
tossing ideas around, not choosing a brand.
He used to be a serious DC pimp but has gone off them I just wondered why?
Are you implying he is a tosser

only Lacey can answer those questions

I got the impression he was trying something new with LK after having a good run with DC. He has mentioned more than once good things regarding DC since going to LK, and with only good things to say about LK also.....
what does brand matter...really??? seems alot aline themselves in one brand camp or another and feeling a need to defend it like a blood line. Unless your talkiing about the cheap chinese crap boards they are all good, production and custom. As long as it meets the needs of the onwer (makes them feel warm and fuzzy) thats what counts....
ok, i've done runs in big ish conditions on dc and lk. the boards will handle it and to be honest 85% of the time both these brands are the go.
i feel in bigger conditions i could have more fun witk a rockered boards instead of darting back to the tail all the time.
while both boards are designed for the nose to go under and come up clean, its not something i like at high speed linking runners.
i don't go with the theory we never get big conditions. flounder and myself did a run just before that last swell got big. i was thinking at the time i couldn't imagine anywhere being much better and a reknown paddler said it did look a bit like maliko, even downwinder reckons at times it can be on.
i'm looking for that rockered board and this time i intend to demo boards in reasonable conditions to find the one i like
cheers
ps, its not pimping hilly, it photo journalism, there's a difference apparently
