What a great idea.

I see a brand of moulded sit on top kayaks (not these) at Currumbin and I always forget the name of them but the way they ride waves to even just bumps in the creek is amazing. A great hull design on these.

If these were cheap they'd be great, hard to damage, great for hire etc.

This footage of Danny has been posted before, but at the 54 second mark, it sort of indicates some Tri-plane-hull action on his Riviera 404 12'6".

Yeah nice pick up Simondo!!

I've been looking at these sit on top ocean kayaks to try and get the missus in the water, aswell as having something we can do together, now seeing that video I am even more keen.

I'd be keen on an ocean nalu in the future for sure, but I think I'll get a tandem ocean kayak first.

If anyone can recommend any of these tandem ocean kayaks, I'd be stoked on any advice anyone can give.

Off topic , but sometime soon someone is going to bolt a sliding seat rowing frame into a longish flatwater sup and smoke almost everything on the water.

Remember you read it here first

I'm planning to make a removable rowing frame for my 14 footer. Its too short for a sliding seat (weight distribution issues), but will still be the fastest and easiest way to get the projectile from A to B.

Geez CMC as someone who considers himself a boat person I'm not sure I want to repel my mates!

But if in doubt I'll ring Capt'n Tony
