I found that on the gongsup website

I don't know what would have looked better on this wave : this move or a snappy turn on a shortboard style SUP...

I start to find it easy to do those 360s in small clean waves (and even easier on bigger/wider boards, a bit more challenging in smaller boards/choppy waves), but this is impressive...
well, I'm impressed !

i remember when goatboats 1st appeared then short waveskis

we all did flat 360 spins and felt great but how dorky is it looking back on those days - maybe the same with SUP's?

imo, it only depends on how, when and where you do it ; if you do that and nothing else on every wave you catch then it's really dorky , same as if someone riding a longboard and always staying on the tail, it's boring.
I'm not impressed by seeing someone doing a 360, but I'm really impressed if like in those pictures it is done on a decent wave with speed and perfect timing, I'm also very impressed if just before the rider was ripping from the tail, and if on the next wave he'll carve into a nice roundhouse cut back instead of the 360...
It's all about variety

I'm with paddlepop, it goes on the seriously uncool board IMHO.

I remember from when I was a teenager we had this crew member who rode a knee board, he would go out in the biggest gnarliest surf and chuck 3 x 360s on the way to the bottom then connect into a huge bottom turn up into the pocket and do it again. Seriously uncool, lol, but no one else could or would do it.
