The groms train Monday Arvo, Saturday Arvo as well as Thursday.
They have progressed from being slow and having an adult steer them to being fast, winning races and steering themselves. This is one single season!
Travis, Danny etc etc all started as Junior outrigger paddlers. I am looking forward to watching the juniors race at Nationals this weekend.
It's only my first season at this particular club but the club is well and truly back in action. Juniors, womens, mens. There are 3 open mens teams in the National title race on Saturday alone as well as the Masters and Senior Masters. 17 teams entered in total.......
6 man Marathon nationals are this weekend at Mooloolaba. As Simondo said 1 mans are in December. Also in June @ Hamilton Island is Nationals changeover titles.
