heres a pic to illustrate the raised footpad sections on the JL boards....

they really help out with balance, gives u a bit of extra purchase for those wobbly moments, plus may help out with future dentage....

I hope Starboard and Naish bring out the raised deck pad edges.

Thats a nice looking board you've got there Miller (The yellow one!!). Hopefully we can catch up for a paddle again soon.

It's a bit hard to see in this pic but this is the Naish Camo deck pad..and it has the raised side bits.

But I tend to stand in such a narrow stance I don't even touch the side ramps..But when it gets real choppy and my stance gets wider..they feel great..
