That's a difficult repair, to get it cosmetically right.... Wood grain..... best option might be a repair, with yellow paint/resin, and a white nose "inlay" with a Naish Sticker over the white inlay. Or fawn/timber coloured inlay....

Best of luck to your friend !

Ummm yeah right-it's a stand up paddle surf board.

Any board will crease/snap in the right (wrong) circumstances-particularly if the construction is light weight/poor.

I have done a fair bit of prone paddle surfing on my SUPs when it's too windy for standup paddling or playing with a 1' shore break on a shallow tidal beach. It's fun. You can get your head inside the teensy weensy little barrels.

no paddle no turn, and if you've never ridden a sup before you wouldnt realise that if you did want to paddle into a wave lying down then would need to be way further towards the back of the sup to stop it nose diving. did i mention this bloke was a massive kook????

ok i'll chip in here, my naish boards have never snapped or creased even when i have run over (accidently) other craft, or been absolutely punished in big surf, although i have never tried to stuff mine into a sandbank!!!!

And I know of a *board on the goldy that suffered the same fate recently after a close encounter with a sand bank... not something that only happens to Naish.
