Did my medial colatteral ligament,thursday just got caught in wrong spot and all the wave caught my knee on the inside ,basically alot of side way force,when at physio he told me he has seen alot of paddle board injuries like this ,any advise on speedy recovery appreciated.they have said grade 3 mcl approx 6 to 8 weeks cheers

Bummer. Just do everything your physio tells you (don't do the things he/she tells you not to do) and you'll be back amongst it.

Clarkee I did my collateral ligament surfing Burleigh in 1999 she snapped like a chicken leg (oh the pain, the pain) I couldn't even walk all I could do was get plenty of acupuncture bought a good knee brace with steel hingers and could only ride a Malibu for 12 months Then I went to G-Land in 2000 and did the same on my left knee like WTF lucky I took my knee brace with me.
I've had that many surf related injures I could right a full essay.
