You think you got it bad, I sold my board to early and its been off shore for over a week

The forecast for the weekend looks fantastic too. Tuesday could only be described as "freight trains" :)

Agree Dean ,had some great waves down your way Tuesday morning at a place some say its [Impossible] to get a wave, a reef to myself next to the one seen below,
then wednesday arvo the swell dropped ,wind went north east and the east coast open beaches were all time, no pics of this came in when it got dark.

Rincon mid morning yesterday....after i had my fill & the wind had gone off West a tad. You can see the wind is quite strong out the back, up to 30knts...but in the lee of the cliffs it's almost glassy.
I did get a fright when paddling from Rincon to winki.....a large fin sliced through the water not far off my bow....turned out to be a fat seal on it side, imitating a a shark......they do this just to scare the crap out of us!
But as i was at Winki there was a shark 200m out the back "fishing".....so long as he continued fishing there.....all was good

I agree with Dean, give me cold and no crowds any day. My problem is what most of us suffer....being in the city 9 - 6 or 7pm every day. I need what Brendan suggested the other day, gotta get someone to pay me the same amount to not work.

Some cold winter days.....it can be quite lonely at Bells.........Its amazing some of the best fun waves for a sup

One positive, we have almost reached the "average" rainfall for the month. We should
surpass it by Tuesday. First time in over a year i think!
