Hey 2dogd,
Good shots.
Thinking of picking up a go pro. Do you find it easy to use, sync, set up,etc ?
The shots are priceless.

Hi 2Dogs, I hear via the grapevine that you have been selected to surf the 3rd round of the Stand up World Tour at Sapinus, Tahiti. Good luck, its only a week away. Hope you get some GOOD waves. With what I have seen of you on big waves you rip !

Justin is chucking around the Hobie Colin Mcphillips 8'11".
I don't know the exact weight but it does fall into the pretty light to light range.
Weight can be manipulated a little with what you use as a deck grip. A wet full deckgrip is heavier than a wet half deckgrip which is heavier than a smattering of wax.
I ride a hobie CM 8'11" most of the time and I prefer the same deck grip as the one Justin is using. It is also a hobie product.
I am heaps different build than Justin(me 85kegs and 48yrs old Justin is a spritely 75kegs and a mere boy)but I can get this board to take me any where I need to go on a wave.(abilty allowing), and I am still improving my surfing if that's any indicator.
The 8'11 is 122litres
The 8'4" is 112litres
The 7'11 is 104 ltres
I would really love to see Justin on one of these babies. He has got a
bottom turn top turn combo that is great to watch.

Ripping Justin. The new board looks great. Any reason you chose the 8'11" over the 8'4"?

Hey green menace it's not supa light but it's not heavy to put
It into perspective I'm only 75kg and it is so easy to through
Around it feels great , teatree thanks mate tom curren once
Said that your turn is the most important turn/move it sets
Up everything so I'm a big believe in that .towball cheers mate
Stoked you like ,I'm going to try more stuff soon with the go
Pro ,hey casso I suppose I didn't want to under gun myself
Straight up on this Hobie , it seems to handle anything from
1foot to 6 foot so that's great
Jason seems to be on the pulse with the Hobie boards
All I know is this cm 8,11 goes great .
Cheers all
