As far I know, you can't - or at least you couldn't.

Typically, it's only the brands that are also windsurfing brands that make models with mast-attachments,
e.g. Starboard, Naish, Fanatic, Bic, and many more

Coreban do not make windsurfing boards.

I've got to say Coreban has fallen off the radar a bit? Two years ago they were almost at the forefront of the pack. I recently bought one of their adjustable Pure paddles and it is excellent. . They don't seem to have made many new movements in board design however. It's just an opinion. I personally reckon that Ivan Van Buren is one of the hottest sup surfers on the planet so you'd think his company would step up to the mark again really soon. Maybe it's just my imaginatipon but it seems as if JP had taken the place of Coreban as one of the big four, Naish, Starboard, Fanatic and now JP. Have Coreban released their 2014 range yet?

I've only just got into Coreban in the last 12 months and love them.
Have the 9'6 Performer and 8'10 Lithium and they are fantastic boards with great versatility. Surf soooo well in any condition.
Would love to see them bring something new out.
I did have an adjustable Coreban paddle when I first started and couldn't wait to get rid of it. Heavy and took on heaps of water.

I've seen most or all the Coreban models from a couple years ago and none of them had mast base inserts.

I had the Coreban Nitro 8'5" for almost 3 years. It was a great board and IMO it was in the top 3 surf SUP's until now.
It worked the best for me out of all the boards I tried during that 3 years. It wasn't as loose as a few smaller boards
but it drew way better lines.

Although the Nitro was a great board there didn't seem to be any updates to the model which was disappointing.

Got myself the new JP 8'2" Pro and I'm absolutely stoked. A BIG improvement. Sooo fast and responsive and I'm
only still running it in.

Lot's of other brands to spend your disposable income on, while lacquering cream on your premature bald patch.

I don't see a problem with Corbean updating designs every year - every season, like the other brands. Don't really see the need in updating anything really - it's just marketing guff.

I s'pose all the marketing, does gives poor indonesian kiddies jobs, and a future respiratory conditions, it makes fat bald old blokes feel good about themselves, and has the potential to make some people very wealthy - so that's a plus.

The Corbean Fusion I bought some years ago still works for me, even if it doesn't have a sail attachment.

Don't use laquer, brown shoe polish works better and the bald patch, she's not premature!!. I'm glad to hear your 3 your old Coreban works well. My two year old Fanatic does to. I often wonder if the people on this forum have the ability to read a post from start to finish and then comprehend what it contains. I made an observation not a condemnation of the product, nor did I give unasked for advice. My uncles name is actually Adolf he's 80 years old and has become a bitter and twisted old man with a drinking problem because his son died prematurely in a motor cycle accident 35years ago. I don't how or why I upset you but apologies for whatever it is has made you feel you need to attack me personally! Have a good weekend.

Thank's Rob, explains a bit ( Apologies Ivan Van Vuuren not Buren), Coreban is probably understandably in a period of transtion at the moment. You've got to move forward or else your standing still and therefore not giving ( I think it's actually Thai, not Indonesian kids?) respiratory problems and taking away their jobs. The irony is that Tobacco company's now make most of there revenue from Asian markets and for some reason I have feeling that's more dangerous than board manufacturing.

Sorry Leroy,

Me, quoting your post didn't actually mean I had a problem with anything you said.

After reading the entire thread, including Ivan's wishy washy letter to his fans, and other posts on the SUP forum tonight, I got me thinking about the current marketing of SUP. I've made a career of working in advertising, and have been an active SUP enthusiast for 4 or 5 years now. I was inspired to add my 2cents on the marketing of SUP - hey it's a free country.

Your post briefly mentioned marketing and it was just a slip of the mouse/keyboard or maybe a vehicle that your post was quoted for my rant on my bitter and twisted take on SUP marketing.

Your post in no way upset me, and quoting you was not intended to be an attack on your personality or anything else.

Trust me... I don't think it's worth reading too much into it.

Just wanted to clear that up.

I sometimes forget on the forums that there are genuine people behind the posts, with strong and good feelings, who are more sensitive than I am. I honestly felt very low after reading that you took my reply to your post personally. You are a really good bloke, with lots more stoke than I'll ever have.

I didn't know you were balding.

Hey, you can have some of my hair and some of my weight if you like, I've got enough for both of us. You can have some of my age too, but I don't think that's a great commodity!

Any trips planned to the same beach in Mexico where iron phil is staying currently? I'd be happy to sleep in a tent to wake up to that.
