his name is Norman (nyoman).... very friendly, knows the spots, helps you load, cleans your board, just goes the extra mile...He'll take the sign of the top of his cab, strap your board on, take you anywhere and wait as long as it takes, while looking after your stuff.

he'd begrudgingly take the tip i offered for his time waiting. Insisted on a few free local trips around seminyak.

When i looked after him at the end of the trip ,,, he was nearly in tears..... very humbling experience....

We have bemo drivers that we normally use for the day who just take a fixed rate, they're pretty cheap normally. Fit 3 or 4 surfers and boards inside.

I think your mate Nyoman is the same Nyoman from Seminyak my good friend used when he was there, I also used him to take me up to the Bukit on a subsequent trip. Same name, same cab. The phone number is different though, maybe there's 2 but great blokes either way.

And the best thing is he is Balinese..
