could be like the one about 3 years ago maybee four , my first race on my old Kalama 11,6 virtually done the whole race on my knees.Very shectchy getting out at snapper and more so coming in at currumbin.Carnage yeww , just hope my backs better in time.

Keep in mind that it says its 3.5 feet today. It is like a lake.

If it's double the size by that scale it's 2-3 feet real. A lot of countries measure the faces. 8 feet would be a bit over head on that scale, too easy!

I'd take swell sizes on magic seaweed and halve them at least. I think they use the same swell gague as andy mac.

i paddled from bilinga today. as cmc said not much happening at 3.5 feet.

all the talk of standing back and planing, none much of that happened today

You should have come down 1 hour south because here it was happening big time, we had it fantastic with noel

Well it looks like that forecast has changed already - last night 8.5ft SE swell now its saying 3.5ft NE chop with light northerly wind - and i'm guessing its going to change a few more times before we get to race day.
Its still too far off to get an accurate forecast so lets just hope we get good conditions on the day!
