Watched a few of the World Tour videos today and then watched the NSW title videos....I know where I saw the better surfing...whens someone going to pay dogman to leave the kennel and show those blokes how its done....

People dont realise how dangerous a camera in the surf can be, I have a few nice scars and lumps from getting a housing in the face and one nice one from a stray fin.

Bet you Piros has a few stories to tell too.

But when you get 1 great shot its all worth it.

great waves for the comp , bu they dont compare to the pits kai lenny and others where taking on. but yeah those boys wouldnt be out of place , thats for sure.

I thinks that's half the point....I would rather see guys on a shorty pulling in at chops as they can get much deeper...save the sup for places like sunset or somewhere we can see some big turns getting ripped.........

My money is on DJ to get the shot and the Kialoa Paddle pin sharp with a Naish Logo right beside it.

The only question is how much is a Naish / Kialoa extraction device in case of emergency?

Hey Pete, my guess that time of the year would be the beachie at Woolamai - plenty of options though if there is swell. I can't imagine Nov is a cooking month though.

Just don't look down when your out the back...one of the biggest great whites caught in Australi was caught just near woollie and most summers there are a number of visitors that resemble very large grey underwater buses.....

Here's a little clip of a small fun day at Woolamai (Wooli) a couple years ago.
Back when the Oxbow 9'6" Pilot was a small board!


Often both lefts and rights all the way up the beach in both directions. Can be
pretty heavy on lower tide when it gets to 4ft+. A bunch of people have snapped
boards, me included.

BUT....yes it looks like the World Tour won't be making it down under quite yet.
Apparently funding was not there to get it off the ground. Hopefully things change
and we can pull it off.

I've only been to Woolamai around ten times but that's the smallest i've ever seen or surfed it. It really seems to fire up in the summer months compared to the West Coast.
