Just amazing how close the time was, both exactly 3 minutes to the second. I actually thought I'd been faster on the Glide and also amazing how much you can stuff yourself in 3 minutes

The boards feel and look so totally different. must do a repeat with someone at the other end of the weight scale, I'm only 66kg so it would be interesting to see the difference with a 100kegs on board.
It's fascinating to compare on the flat but the downwind ability is where its at for both these boards. Although I suspect 14 foot is a pretty good all round board length and IMO works perfectly with a surf SUP as a two board quiver, just that much more of a PITA to store and get off the car. So probably a lot of people will use these boards on flat water as well.
The Starboard weighs 13.3 kg by the way, don't know what the volume is - lots! It is bloody stable.
