G'day PTWoody no one wanted to bet me the $100 ??? I didn't know Kirsty was competing as Kirsty is a sure BET!!! you fools for not betting on Kirsty.

well done to Angie who gives BOP training 100% for these events.
well done to Jenny ( The Andrea Moller of Australia ) who surfs first & trains for SUP secondly. Well Done Jen you're Classic Water Woman.

I heard it was very close between 2nd & 3rd

Phew got home about an hour ago , great race almost wished i wasnt in it so i could see the action.Look forward to the vid if there is one.Really good course with some nice little waves to negotiate , which i didnt do very well LolThose top guys are paddling weapons thats for sure.Stoked for my Nephew come in six place i think , right in the mix the whole way.Bed is looking real good , Im rooted !

I think its great you back your girl, for doing such an awsome job, but give credit where credit is due, it wasnt close between 2nd and 3rd, Ange smoked Jenn and is all kinds of awsome, and was the better "Water women" on the day(besides Kristy Holmes who is the def of Waterwomen, and gave us all a canning), and Jenn does train hard for SUP racing, dont pull the ol "surfs first, trains second bull****, Boxing, running, surfing rates high on the ol training meter..she is an athlete..

.. Yeah I agree.

Just having an event run for you to compete in is enough in my book without expecting prizes and trophies... Well done girls, I'm sure you all had fun.

Well said Sim! And congrats to everybody who did the race - definately the most exciting event we've had downunder and Noosa made the perfect stage to run this style of race and really good to see so many spectators on the beach watching and cheering everyone on too.

Kirsty was a stand out in the womens race, no questions asked! It's great to see some top athletes from other surf sports having a go at standup and it gives us all something to aim for!

If we're talking close finishes then massive congratulations to Kelly for winning the final sprint up the beach and taking out the mens race by about 5cm!!!!

well done to Tully St John from Laguna Bay for organising the Noosa Race.. It definatley was a successful and fun race!

ALL the girls in the race went well.. and at the end of the day Kirsty and Ange were better than me on the day! Thats what racing is all about! :) you get out there and you try your best!Doesnt matter on what everyone's sporting background/ training/ passions are... its that we all get in there together and have a go! Well done to the ladies who have never raced before - and were willing to give it a go!

It's the only way these events will continue... This race had one of the best vibes and community spirit yet - well done everyone on getting into it and getting involved...
