As a kid I don't think you are not doing your job well enough. You should take some tips from mine.

For example: steal your dads car and pick up your friends and take them to maccas for a burger to impress them. Make sure you all smoke cigarettes in the car and stuff up the electric windows. Then be sure you hit the excelerator and not the brake and cause 3.5K damage to it.

When your dad sees the car, and has steam coming from his ears, tell him that you are having issues at school, you are sorry, and did it just to escape the pressures of being a kid.
