Here's some pics of my windsurfer one design light wind sail /no wind SUP.$53 bucks one EBay with[ attachments-no longer req,use modern sails for sailing]
some research revealed they are one of the better old windsurfers for SUPing.

Used some heavy vinyl[like rip stop to make tabs to thread shock cord through]secured with stainless screws and a dob of epoxy in the screw holes to seal.
[Guess my paddle protector?]

my global surf paddle ,water bottle, soft storage bag for extra water, keys ,phone, snack ,etc

This will do for the time, want to try a sail in campcrows board and several others of interest but that's another story[thread].

Love the paddle cover, I wonder if the paddle companies have thought about a blade cover only?

I paddled this board the other day and i was quite surprised how good it glided through the water. It was a little tippy but no worries at all in the glassy stuff.
A good pick up for $53 to get yourself on the water quicker.......Especially when the nearest SUP store is 300km away

PB distance today 10Ks round trip[wanted to upload google map ,to hard ,cant work it out] had only explored this creek to about the 3k mark ,had a 2.77.mtr high tide this morning so planed my departure before high and got about 4.5 ks before the change and turned around at 4.9 ks ,the channel had narrowed to about 2-3 meters,3pt turn to turn the old wally around and do the return trip.It will be interesting to do the same trip on a low tide and see how far i can get in comparison.Total distance 10ks,max speed 7.6ks ,moving average 5.5ks,time moving 1hr 49 min, 6min 2 drink stops.Nice to have some numbers to improve on. Nice to do a trip like this ,it makes the Werrona island to Pirie trip at 8 ks look as though it will be easy, and the future ,Pirie to Werrona island and back for a 16 k PBAnd then there's yesterdays little adventure, wont be doing it again until I've got someone on the video camera,Port Pirie has got some white waterMore on that later.

Bridge to nowhere tested, far from conquered,it was a learning experience and i will be a little wiser in picking the good spots next time.Lost count of how many times i went in the drink, the turbulence in that water does some weird things.I would advise you to have some tape or something similar at the ready when you give it a go to put on the nose of your board, i was amazed at how much i got drawn to the rocks, against the flow of the tide and ended up with a few barnacles embedded in the old wally's nose.Twas great fun and wish i had organised for my son to be there for some video footage or at least a few pics.[you wouldn't believe it was me in the pics though ,you haven't seen me with a smile like that on my dial]

edit; what are you doing in the morning Danny,i was hoping for a decent breeze in the morning for a sail, plenty of water at Werrona but im not sure that it will be all that good by the forecast so it might be your time for a light wind sail if your interested.
