“The 32ndAnnual West Lakes Classic” hosted by the West Lakes Canoe Club.
WHERE: To be held at the West Lakes Canoe Club, Bower Road, West Lakes, S.A.
START TIME: Registration 8.00 AM BRIEFING: 8.45 AM START: 9.00 AM
CLASSES OFFERED: K1, K2, K4, TK1, TK2, SURF SKI (SS1 & SS2) OUTRIGGER (OC1 / OC2 / OC6), C1, C2, C4, TC1, TC2, Hobiecat sit-on, Stand up Paddle Board, Dragonboat. If it floats & you can paddle it we'll make a class for you! Everyone is welcome. NB: PFD's to be worn by all novice, U 12, U 14 & U 16 paddlers.
COURSE:
WLCC clubhouse, paddle south and turn right to Bartley Tavern Foot Bridge on Western side of Lake - turn anticlockwise around both pylons, paddle back and around Delphin Island to other Foot Bridge near Riverside Golf Club on Eastern side of Lake - turn anticlockwise around both pylons, paddle north back to WLCC. One Y lap (footbridge to footbridge) is nearly 6 km. All races are in multiples of 6 km distances.
COST: $8 PER PERSON (includes Pancake Breakfast after race)
SA SUPCrew will be in attendance & the event is open to all paddlers.

The Starboard Demo van will be in attendance with boards available for demo after the race. Forecast is looking good, sunny & 18 degrees with around 5 knots, will be a great morning!
