Tully's Tunnel Rat Project has been years in the making and finally he's cracked the code!
The 4ft 6" Rat is ridiculously small but with Tully's new shape and design local surfers are frothing and commenting how the "Rat" can turn on rail.
With some lateral thinking, Tully has incorporated it into a 6ft 10" High-performance SUP T rat and with any luck Tully and myself will have it in the water smashing rail turns and insane fin slides mid next month. (Photo's and Video to come)

PS The photo's are Tully shaping/glassing the "SUP Rat" yesterday and Tully surfing the 4ft6 Rat 3 weeks ago.

Cheers Jonesy

So if a 70kg guy can ride a 6'10 then a 50kg girl could ride a 6 ????? or even a 5 ?????

Last time I saw a topic like this I bought one. www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Stand-Up-Paddle/SUP/A-Matched-Pair

Not sure I'm ready for a 4'6" surfboard. Wonder how it would go as a kiteboard?

hi Jonesy, what's up on the 6'10" channel bottom?
Did you try it? What kind of fins did you set on it?

I love my one 6'10" channel which is a round pin 6'10" 28,5"wide and 90 liters, float well my old 75kg on clean waves.
I reckon put the AB2 fcs fins on it or a quatro of TC whiteline as well combo of TC red and Aqualine

you'll never get it back JONESY......LOL!!!!!!!!!

here is my report....

at my pudgy 90+kg lump of lard the rat aka "little fatty" is a bit of a struggle in choppy conditions

but OK in pure glass

it took a while to get used to paddling it and staying upright

and a few waves to get my head around getting my "wiggle on"

THEN HOLY CRAP!!!!!!! i was unloading turn after turn like a madmen possessed

power turns too.... not those gay as sin fanny flicks

ive had a few gem moments putting that thing on rail at speed

I thumb up, so I made disappeared the red trottle, red thumb what's for? may be because you keep this 6'10" weapon carving rudders on glassy days , yes this kind of board is definively made for surfing not paddling. Tx JONESY
Dogman Keep that board, this is better rather than doing your weight watcher

Update on Tullys Rat project....
It's gone underground into the Sunny Coast drains and cheap Noosa takeaway shops...................."Not"
Tully made a **** load for the Oz market and team crew but a guy from Japan keeps buying them.
Anyway... Tully is shaping a new "Rat" with some crazy improvements, all I can say its sub 6ft, new rails and has a dug out deck!
I'll get some photo's soon.
