Hello everyone. I've been paddling a 2016 NSP DC Open Ocean downwind board since early may. Mostly for short paddles of 4 miles and less. Recently we did several downwinders of 8 to 12 miles. About 6 miles into the paddles i have been noticing that i am losing feeling in my left leg and foot. The interesting thing is that my V2 and F14 (SIC) do not bother me. Yesterday we did an 11.4 mile and then a 7 mile downwinder, back to back. At the end of both runs, i was having to REALLY concentrate on my balance. So much so that i wasn't catching very many bumps. Has anyone experienced anything similar?

If your Down winding I'd just stick with the SIC's.

I tend to agree with your statement. I LOVE my F14, but i was looking for something faster in marginal conditions. The V2 (with A.S.S) is definitely faster, but at 6'4" and 220 pounds, i find myself needing to stand directly on the tiller, which makes for an uncomfortable situation. The NSP catches small bumps AMAZINGLY well and is fairly stable for me in conditions up to 5 feet. I also have been finding the NSP to be pretty fast in choppy, as well as flat conditions. I just with the pad were nicer to my feet.
