Just bought this Kombi to start restoring it for surf trips around the coast. Long time plan/dream of mine for ages, not sure how I convinced the wife but shes keen as well. Can't wait to see this one progress. Love a good Kombi. Travelled around for a few years in a Transporter and slept, cooked, surfed in some amazing (and scary) places. First thing you have to do is bend that coathanger into the shape of Australia.
great stuff. I had a orange one about 24 years a go. Plenty of trips up the coast, lots of good memories. Have thought about doing what you are doing maybe in 15 years time. Look forward to the updates.
