David if it hadn't been for your full on promoting of the Mambo / Corona Merimbula Classic many of us would not even have know the event existed.

With 130 SUP entries this year you had to be pumped

I can imagine you carrying the same infectious stoke you have from the 1st event to 30th, its just the way you are.

Yep, I agree Phil ...... DJ's the man responsible for all the SUP fun at the Merimbula Classic! We owe him big time!

Spot on Phil .... if it wasn't for DJ I wouldn't of known about this event ,plus all the effort he put's into this forum as well ..... I reckon he goes to bed with that bloody laptop of his!

yeah dj was the first guy i met 4 years ago when i first started supping !
i was paddling the lake with my mate surf shop simon when we come across dj on a nsp mal with a paddle and crocs !
he gave us a few tips
then the next year the 1st mambo we met again
on the weekend when i cut my foot dj was the guy that patched it up !
mate not only are you a legend and a top bloke
your a gentleman !
you bleed sup
look forward to catching up with you next year

Thinking back when I first joined the breeze asking gumby SUP questions you were the first to reply and offer help..

Thanks Phill for the great pic's and kind words.. Maybe one day you'll get some action shots of myself that I'll be proud of..

I also appreciate others comments and it's nice that it shows that I just want to have fun and share the stoke of SUP with others.

I hope to see many more Breezers at next years Merimbula Corona Classic.

DJ,

My goal for 2011 is to get you a surf pic your proud to hang on the wall.

The smile on your face in the second pic and your enthusiasm is more powerfull than busting a big move in the surf.

I saw you on the waves at the bar and your surfing has improved so much. I hope to get out with you on that bright shinny Naish 9fter so we can get you some solid 300m 1- 2ft PRK session and you'll be ripping next Corona.

Simmondo, Rich, Matt, Kristi everyone would be happy to help if its important to you.
