Nothing like a day at the beach with the kids. you always walk away so much better for it.
If only these days would last forever.

So true Phil, mine are growing up too fast, the oldest are 17 and 15 but still surf with me on hols. My youngest just turned 10 and got a standup for his birthday - cause he keep nagging me about using mine. He surfs as well.
Rob, I reckon the main thing is that they learn to prone surf youngish (before 13) as it gets harder and less likely the older they get. Mine were hard to get off the lids when they were real young but I just persevered and eventually they realised how much more satisfying standing up on a wave is. But as someone else said - as long as they are in the water, its all good.
Now my 4 all surf, bodysurf, bodyboard, standup paddle surf occassionally, spearfish and generally love the ocean. It ensures all the holidays are based around the beach as well
