We are holding a charity paddle called "Talin's Rose - Paddle for life" to raise funds for his family in these hard times.

It will be held at Rose Bay on the 1st July and have a Blast race of 2.5km for all craft including SUP, Ski, Kayak etc.... PLUS a social paddle from Rose Bay to Nielson's Park and back which is around 5.5km
The day will kick off at 8am for checkin with race around 8:45 and social around 9:45am

The cost is $30 for social paddle and $40 for both Blast race and social paddle. We will be having a competitors draw with some big prizes up for grabs. There will be a BBQ, cake stall, face painting and hair spraying for the kids, plus several large SUP brands will be having a demo day so you can try out their range of boards.

I urge you all to come along and support a worthy cause, meet like minded people and have a great day.

Step 2- To make your race entry payment click on the DONATE button

Step 3- Type in $30 to participate in the paddle or $40 to participate in the race and paddle

Step 4- Click on PURCHASE not donation if you are participating



If only donating to support the paddlers please click the donation amount as an INDIVIDUAL and as a DONATION and a receipt will be automatically generated

Event schedule is as follows:

08:00am - Check in and registration (BBQ breakfast will be available from this time)
08:40am - Race briefing and safety talk
08:45am - "Blast" 2.5km race. All paddle craft can enter
09:45am - Social paddle to Nielsen's Park and return approx 5km (There will also be a short course for those who don't want to paddle that far)
11:30am - Presentation of race results, competitors draw and charity auction

Talin's art exhibition, sweet stall, face paiting and crazy hair stall will all open at 8.30am.

Talin's Rose - Paddle For Life on this sunday. Demo Suplove boards, be into win prizes includung a Suplove paddle and see a Suplove Supball demo. Help raise some funds and have a fun day.

Thanks to the organisers, sponsors and volunteers today - 60 paddlers all up. A great cause for the paddling community to support.

The video is finally completed. It's a little jerky in places due to the GoPro being positioned on my head......not the most stable base when paddling. I have cut the race section out for now as it was a little long and boring for the purposes of the event video.

I will post the race video later in the day.
