I just came across this vid about a guy that broke his back surfing a beach-break and caught it all on film.. It's worth watchig.. Take care out there.
Have had arm or leg injuries while wavesailing but still managed to get back in due to onshore winds and some good luck. Don't know what I'd do if something like this happened.
He was so lucky there were others around who could help.
