I'm very new to suping, I get my new board next Monday, I've so far enjoyed hiring it a couple times so I wanted to commit to it.
I've only ever been at Point Walter, but since I live in West Perth I'd like to find spots closer to home before I tackle the beaches.
Any suggestions for river suping on the north side?
Maybe where I can meet fellow soloists beginners?

Launch anywhere along Matilda bay (round the corner from pelican point) if the seabreeze is in, nice and sheltered there.
If you are on facebook have a look at Perth SUP or SUP Tonic Australia both Perth based groups where people post to meet up for paddles and talk sup.
