C'mon DJ its ok to admit its just not a kids film....I have played it about 500 times..when the swell is non existent its great to watch...never get sick of it....captures the whole surfing genre, culture, and scene brilliantly......the artwork, animation, humour and characters.....only a surfer (sup'er) knows the feeling.
