Just came in from an early at seals point before the wind picked up to much to paddle on to a wave. Only Alastair (local Naish rep) and me out on the point from 7am till 830am we had it to ourselves. 2 to 4 foot just the 2 of us.Surfed the point for 2hrs yesterday with about 10 guys out.The gopro photos are yesterday Sorry about the quality but the lens fogged and the sun ruined most of my photos..the other photos were 2 days ago after I came in when the wind picked up. Hope the swell comes up enough to surf J-Bay in the next few days More soon rod

Seals is a great wave and I am glad you are getting dialed in before some swell hits.
When the swell pick's up you are going to love the "Point" in J-bay. It's a great SUP and longboard wave.
Is that the 9'3 you are riding?

If you get tired of surfing perfect right hand point breaks, then come down to Cape Town for a change of scene ;)

Nice I was in Cape Town over New Years and surfed at Kommetije Bay when the south wester was blowing and the swell was pumping.

Awesome and could see some guys sitting out on the outer reef riding the big stuff.

The day before we got called out the water at Muizenburg because of a shark and that same day a Zimbo guy (whose sister I actually knew) got taken at Fish Hoek.

Hi to answer KingDoms question yes its thr 9'3 Naish, which I had not ridden before I got here. Its a little harder to paddle on to a wave but then the board really shines, carries good speed and turns nice and tight in the pocket, you can draw out your bottom turn then try to put the nose hard up in to the lip. i am really enjoying the board and would recommend trying it to anyone wanting to go up to a more short board style performance board..
