So with a lack of swell and far too much time on my hands I tried Sup fishing the other day. 2 flathead, enough for a feed. Was a bit of fun being able to sight cast at the fish.

Excellent work Funky

I was thinking of doing some fishing but wondering how to hold my rod and paddle at the same time

Now I know - just insert and clinch

So in that first pic are you paddling with your rod clinched between your cheeks..

Go Dr!!!

Spoting flathead like that and not spooking them surely is a challenge - how many did you spook??

SUP fishing could be on its way to an emerging sport...

Yep....It was just clench and paddle. I have made a belt with a rod holder in the back and a cradle for the paddle now though. Tend to spook a heap of flatties but getting heaps as well. I would love to give it a go on some GT's or queenies in the tropics!
