Scotty from Greenline and Jason from Balmoral Boards brought a heap of boards down on Saturday for a little expression session on the Goldie.Dale Chapman also rocked up with his latest 8-8.
The boards were:- Gerry Lopez 8-11 , C4 9-3 Sub Vector , the new Coreban 8-5 Nitro and the 9-6 , Chris Garret 9-4 , the new model Oxbow wide models , plus the new PSH prototype 8-11 ![]()
Average conditions but good for testing the boards , here is a quick flick of the session.

Thanks ..... the 3 stand out boards were the Coreban Nitro 8-5 , I'm 90kg and it floated me fine with it's 110kg volume however it was pretty tender under foot with that extra nose lift and rocker but put it on a wave and the name says it all and board is just so easy to throw around just point and shoot.
The PSH 8-11 (proto) had the most pulled in and thin tail I've ever seen on Sup it was so fast with heaps of drive and easy to surf but the lack of tail volume meant the tail just sinks when you stand on it making it a real leg burner. The double concave deck for your feet was also a great idea.
The DC 8-8 has to one of Dales best yet , volume wise and stability it felt great under my feet , surf wise just look at the video that was the first time the board had been ridden , Adam didn't want to give it back.
