I just wanted to show my appreciation of the fact that Ian/Auswind has been doing a sterling job with his sup demo tour.

Having initially made the trip from Perth to Merimbula for the Corona Classic, he's continued to demo up and down the East Coast, then across to Tassie, then back to the mainland, more Vicco demo's, back across west to SA, etc, etc.

He's worked tirelessly to not only give Starboard a push, but to also really get amongst it and promote Sup in general.

I was lucky enough to have a few days away last week when he was at Phillip Island and whilst there hasn't been much swell recently, the demo at Shelly Beach allowed me to catch a few waves, paddle with my wife, kids, nephew and brother and also chat to a few customers on and off the water. [ A nice change to chatting in the store].

I hope a few of you out there have also taken advantage of the tour van when it's
been in your area. [ Or will, when it comes to a town near you.]

A few snaps from the day.

Big Hello to Ian and thanks for bringing a truck load of the latest boards to my local.
It was an awesome day and surfed most of the starboard range. If any of you get a chance to sample this range take full advantage and drop in to a demo day.
There are some excellent shapes and some boards really suprised me in performance.
Cheers to Warwick from RPS and nice to have a surf with you.
10'5 x 30 Drive in brushed carbon the pick of the day for me.
Still stoked on a great day
Cheers Scott

A top idea, good on you Ian.
I went along to the Parkdale demo, and emailed the SUP demo tour, if we could have a go at Pines / Shoreham, unfortunately the swell was a whole 4 - 8 cms. Rode every board, so did my 7 yr old son, decided on the 9 x 33" hero, which I got thru Warwick. I never would have thought I could turn a 33" board on a wave, but have ridden Cat bay and Sandy Point this week, and am very happy with my purchase. It does get a little skatey on the wave face probarly due to the width, but adds to the fun. Now a suitable board for my son is next.
Also after using the Starboard carbon paddle, I had to have one. I recommend to everyone to get down and have a go when the Demo is in town.

We had a great day at Shoreham Beach - The Pines - as well - it was great to meet Ian and Sharon and have a go on many of the Starboard quiver - It was also exciting to see so many people on the water having a go -age was no barrier! - plus the conditions were near perfect - sunny with a light offshore breeze.

Keep an eye on their Demo tour schedule and get down and have a go on some seriously good boards.

I think they are in Torquay this weekend.

Hey DJ,
That was Cat Bay/Shelley Bch. Both the left and right are awesome on their day. Left point wasn't on that day.
I'm over at Robe for the week. Sup paradise!
See you back in Melb next week for the Sup Cup!

I forgot to add to the Robe part.
The Sup demo tour will be at Robe for Thurs.
So if any paddlers are in the area, drop in for a wave or 3.
