dunno about a sup clup, which covers alot of the coast with no true originals competing. There are some people out there, who never came from a shortboard or long board background and have no idea about the ranking in the line up. How many worthy suppers you get today? I went to surf my local break, only to be run over with 30 fools who did not have a clue on your last meeting. Maybe when you are all capable, you will be welcomed back.I forgot to mention i am also a sup rider for the last 3 years(yes 3 years) Feel free to pm me if you have a issue

Great Day and a terrific turn out considering the weather and all the other activities on today.

First of all a big thank you to all members of the Caloundra Malibu Club. Great bunch of people. We shared the same area (different banks) and worked off their lights and sirens. All happy to be at the one spot. With all the gear and marquees it looked like a large event.

Big thanks to Hayden from Ocean Addicts for providing the much needed sustainance in drinks and burgers and also to Georgie for cooking up the Snags.

Big Thanks for providing the prizes also to:

Luke and Hayden from Ocean Addicts.
Johno from Sunshine Coast Kitesurfing / SUP Fun.
Peter from Caloundra Wind and Surf.

We had a great day with everyone either getting out in the surf or calmer water of the passage. We also had a number of people come down to demoo gear and get some advice. Thanks to both Sunshine Coast Kitesurfing and SUP Fun and Ocean Addicts for providing the demo gear.

We ended up having three divisions being:

Open Mens:
1st: Matt Roach
2nd: Luke Potter
3rd: Pierre Matschice

Open Womens:
1st: Georgie Roach
2nd: Loraine Paciullo

SUP Surfing less then a year:
1st: Pierre Matschice
2nd: Jarrett Stock
3rd: Dan Dickson

Best Manouvure:
Luke Potter

Our next meet will be on the 12th of December. New members are welcome.
The next meet will be a fun team event format where we will be able to judge individual and team winners at the same time. This is a fun format that brings all together so if you have't joined yet... come along and enjoy the day and meet people who are into this sport. Format is as follows.

All members will be in one of four teams. Each team member is allowed a maximum of 3 waves. Your last wave you catch is the one that scores the points for yourself and the team. If you are happy with one of your first waves you raise your paddle and that one counts. Your next team member then paddles out etc etc.

We will still have divisions here for Open Mens, Open Womens, Less then 1 year Sup Surf and under 17.

Thanks again for everyone for coming. It makes for a fun Sunday.
