It has started in Sydney - the sun is heading down now :-)
You've lost all credibility telling us it's sunset at 18.06![]()

Jaci Shimuhara is on the 8'2 Insane - Heat 9
James Casey is on the 8'5 Insane - Heat 12
Great waves, some very intense heats with top level surfing.
My favorite was 13 year old Finn Spenser. In sizable Sunset.... and he ripped some waves like a pro.
The Girls are on the Main Stage (Sunset) this year as well. Excellent move!
I've missed all of it so far due to work. I clicl the link but you can't re-watch any of it. Only live. Anyone got any ideas?
How good is it to see JM back.. and winning his heat.. go Jamie.. ![]()
Yes and surfing very well indeed. I think that was the masters heat/final

If you have a tv that receives internet you could record, Of course I've only heard of this, haven't actually got it myself
Normally they put the full recorded "live" feeds on youtube: http://youtu. be/TheWatermanLeague/videos
(URL split in 2 parts so that the forum do not confuse it with an actual video)
Look for the many hours long videos.
There seem to be some delay in uploading them however, I guess the uploading of these huge videos takes time.
Was interesting to see alot of the guys using the "push the board forward over the foam and fall backwards technique" when paddling out again to the back of the line up .
All I could find on the website was the heat draws for the quarter finals... didn't look like they had run them yet.
Weather has been pretty windy from an odd direction, making for victory at sea conditions. If I had to guess, they will hold it on Thursday. Conditions might not be great, but the holding period only goes till Friday and most organizers don't like waiting till the last day.
stream did not work for me. spewin.
was it good? i saw kai do one decent reo in the snippet. was he rippin?
looking at scored, he dominated, or others didnt pick up waves.
Scoring that one ride a ten might have been slightly generous, but Kai was clearly the best surfer out there that particular half hour and its wasn't even close.
Have watched snippets through to the finals and enjoyed watching both finals this morning.
Kai's vertical turns are a treat to watch, the standard of the women's final was epic in the tricky conditions.
With 7 more comps for the year I believe the new tour will definitely lift the profile of SUP as a serious competitive sport.
