There unreal put the others up

It reminded me of scotts head yesterday except scotts was only 4 ft thankfully no were near the power ,no bull this south east swell with a a light sw wind has given the mid north coast some unreal surf ,,those blokes rip ,

Has anyone sup surfed over there ?

Yea, that was funny but also great moment. I saw that wave from way the beach while hanging with a photographer. We watched Kamaki (Worthington) pull into that barrel. We could see him take a nice line to make it out of the barrel, but then the paddle got caught in the lip and was ripped from his hands. Kamaki was not fazed though. He kept his trim, made the wave and got the highest score of the contest.

There was some discussion about how they might score his wave since he lost his paddle. But they correctly (IMO) gave him the score. Great photo of that moment graffitisup!
