Are there any options for tourists to DW as we might e going to either Greece or Rhodes in November
TJR if you visit Athens I can provide you with downwind boards and we can do some runs together.
dk78 Thanks for that offer, thats really kind of you, unfortunately we booked for Rhodes. I think we might have to come to Greece next year if your DW are that good and there is lots there i want to visit anyway.

Thanks TJR. July and August are the best months as we have the Meltemi, a wind phenomenon which blows strong especially in the Aegean sea. Generally you can do downwinders all year round in Greece and even with 15knots there are some nice runs.
Will give a visit some serious consideration for next year. Our problem here is a very short coastline, huge tidal flow and swell direction, we still get out whenever we can though
