We are planning a social Demo with the Starboard International race team this Friday morning from 7am at Dutch Inn Cottesloe.

If you would like to come along and talk SUP racing with Starboards International team riders Connor Baxter, Bart De Zwart and Annabel Anderson then come along. This is the perfect opportunity before the Dr race day to ask many questions of three of the world's leading racers about their boards and technique.

Not only can you gain valuable knowledge but you will also be able to head out onto the water with the team on the latest 2012 Starboard Racing SUP's. Some of the latest Race boards from Starboard have just been unpacked and this will be the first time on the water for these models in Australia.

Below are some models to try out

Starboard Ace 14' x 25 – This is the rocket that the Elite Team will use for Saturdays Rotto race and Winner of the 11 Cities tour
Starboard Ace 14' x 27
Starboard Ace Pro 14' x 28 – New Release
Starboard Touring 14'0 x 30 – New Release
Starboard Open Ocean 14' x 28
Starboard Coast Runner 14' x 28
Starboard Race BOP 12'6 x 28.5 – New Release and the model Connor won BOP California on
Starboard Race 12'6 x 31.5
Starboard Race 12'6 x 29.5
Starboard Race 12'6 x 27.5

We hope to see you there, if you cannot make it please send us an e-mail to sales(at)auswind.com.au with your contact details and we will let you know when one of our upcoming Demo days is on so you can try out these winning boards.

Cheers,
Auswind

We just got confirmation that our new 2012 boards will be arriving tomorrow... Heaps of time...

So that means that we have a couple of boards that aren't going to be used on Saturday.

If you are interested give me a ring, email or catch up on Friday morning at Dutchies

Thanks,

Ian

How good is it to see the interest and numbers grow in the SUP racing scene.
It was only 3 years ago when a handful of us went from Rotto to Scarborough on the old 12'6 boards.
Now look at it. We have paddlers coming from over seas.
What a great opportunity it is to talk and paddle with people like Connor, Bart and Annabel.
I'm hoping to make the 3 hour drive just to see these people in real life.
Hope to see you all there

It was good to get out on the new boards, certainly some very different new boards in the range this year.

Connor, Bart and Annabel are all definately entering, they are looking forward to it.

Should be a good race.

Ian

PS
For those that missed this morning send us an email at sales (at) auswind.com.au and we will let you know when we are going to demo our race boards over the coming weeks.
