Yesterday morning was a cracker. Problem was it was looking that way from about five days out so expected the worst with regards summer crowds. Got to the beach and got sorted in the dark and hit it just as the sun was coming up, suprised to see one other punter about to head out but stoked when I realised it was Greeny. Have known he and his parents forever and remember him as a freckly grom, young adult now but a real fun bloke to surf with. Got a leftfield sense of humour and an even more leftfield surfing style, kinda got the whole Bertleman rubberman thing happening. He absolutely shreds!!! We had an hour and a half to ourselves and then right on seven the masses poured over the back beach hill. Time for brekky! Hope you enjoy

Not much in the way of right handers this way at the mo, seems to be all lefts except for the usual suspect. Grapevine has it that there could be a couple of cracking banks half way between yours and ours.

Fun looking wave and the right looked good but no one went right??? I suppose being goofy footers then I can understand but it did look good

Sorry Brownie, was having a Seabreeze free day, just couldnt help myself. Its a reef that is predominantly a left. The right is a takeoff cover up closeout as it runs into another left coming the other way. Natural footers will backdoor the peak get a quik cover and then bash the closeout. Greeny did just that a couple of times with a pig dog takeoff and backhand bash, had to edit the session down to under three minutes or Vimeo spat the dummy, lefts were longer so they stayed in.
