Cracking shots Phill. "Straight to the pool room" for those. So much fun yesterday, have'nt surfed that spot like that since some time in the seventies. Think I mentioned to you up in the car park that as a teenager I used to live just over the other side of the hill from there in Orton St. Tell the truth that's the first time I've heard it called second reef, it was allways just the go to spot when the tide was super full and there was'nt much swell. On a good day I would happily sit out there on my seven foot single fin pin, for four or five hours catching lots of little waves and working on my favourite move, the Wayne Lynch head dip hair flick. An underated manouvre in my humble opinion which seems to have gone the same way as the soul arch and the cheater five. Ahhhh memories!
Anyway these days I dont have enough hair to flick and I'd probably tweek my back if I tried.
